I had the opportunity to attend museum free day at the Autry Museum of the American West in Griffith Park. It happened to coincide with a lecture on a book that has been recently published regarding the Western classic High Noon and the Hollywood Blacklist that coincide with the McCarthy-era Communist hearings that were taking place at the time of the film’s release.
The Autry also has a fantastic collection of western art.
