Consider a Container Garden

Using interesting pots and planters, a container garden is possible for almost any
space. You can create a native plant oasis on your patio, balcony or at your front
door with just a few containers.

Check out garage sales and thrift shops for interesting containers. If you are not
comfortable with a drill, be sure to buy pots that have a hole in the bottom for good
drainage.

Some suggested container plants are white sage, purple clarkia, California Fescue,
common yarrow, Douglas iris, and coyote mint. For sources and inspiration check
