Drumline at the Rose Bowl

For those of you who thought the Rose Bowl was just for football (as I did), it is interesting to discover the variety of events happening almost every week.

I was invited to the International Drumline Competition, which was absolutely amazing! The stadium may look empty but there were close to 10,000 people in attendance to watch teams from all over the Western United States compete. Not just marching in formation, but there were costume changes, flags, and Cirque du Soleil-like performances. It made for a truly amazing evening.
