Real Estate Update – May 2026

The Los Angeles City Council recently named 11222 West Dilling Street, a.k.a. the “Brady Bunch” house, a historic and cultural monument. The show wasn’t actually filmed there; the exterior of the house was used as an establishing shot, while the action was captured on a soundstage. But for many fans, that midcentury facade undams a torrent of memories. HGTV purchased the house on Dilling Street in 2018 and renovated it to match the original set, documenting the process on a reality show.

Its current owner is a Brady super fan who readied the house for landmark designation, adding artifacts related to the show — there’s the pay phone Dad installed when the kids were running up the phone bill, the vase that Peter broke when he was playing ball indoors. Access to the house is limited, but you can take a virtual tour through the wall-to-wall carpeted living room, the orange-and-avocado kitchen, and the pink and blue bedrooms at www.bradyhouse.com. There is a link on that page to register if you want to book a visit.
