Have you had a chance to check out some of the Spring blooms scattered throughout Southern California? As the wildflowers continue to grow, tulips are nearing the end of their bloom cycle and cherry blossoms, azaleas, and magnolias have progressively evolved.
One of my favorite places to go is a local gem in the heart of La Canada called Descanso Gardens. I love going there to check out the Camila bushes and see the large selection of botanical collections and unique landscaping they have.
Descanso Gardens provides inspirational and educational ways to connect with the Earth’s creations with Spring bloom walks where guided tours are offered during weekends. If you are more of a night owl, you can discover the science of nature and dance amongst the flowers during their Night Garden: Science Quest event on May 18th. What better way to officially welcome the season of Spring?
